CURRICULUM

The professional course curriculum of the Teacher Education Program includes both required and elective subjects; Education Foundation Courses, Teaching Methodology Curriculum, and Teaching Field Experience and Teaching Materials and Methods are all established in accordance with Ministry of Education regulations. The curriculum design and development must meet the teaching goals and core competencies of this center. The content of Specialization includes improving teacher education students’ professional capability and disposition, emphasizing responsible spirit and attitude, strengthening curriculum design and instruction, making good use of class management and counseling. The content of Excellence includes nurturing students to have behavior and attitude of teachers and mentors, enhancing students’ characteristics as professional educators, and strengthening students in research development and advanced study. The content of Internationalization includes fostering students to improve English and have global views, and setting up an international learning environment. Core Competencies include cultivating students to be teachers with professional ability, improving students to be mentors in capacity and disposition, and emphasizing relationship with groups and self.
